This past weekend, my husband and I celebrated my birthday by hosting an intimate holiday brunch for some of our close friends. Our menu consisted of a few great recipes I found on Pinterest (where else?) and we broke out some of the wedding gifts typically saved for special occasions.
My favorite part of the party preparations was setting a holiday-themed table. Our decor is contemporary, which can make holiday decorating a bit challenging – Christmas decorations tend to be more on the traditional side. I did manage to score some great finds for the table, including some cute reindeer plates from HomeGoods, silver charger plates from JoAnn Fabrics and felt snowflake place mats from Bed Bath and Beyond. For the centerpiece, I used two different types of candles and a cute little poinsettia. Overall, I was really thrilled with the way the table turned out!
