That year I had three wedding receptions…

No that’s not a typo!  Many of you may know from last year’s anniversary post that my husband and I said our vows in the beautiful seaside village of Positano, Italy. What you may not know, is that in addition to our wedding reception in Italy, we also had one in Market Bosworth, UK and Michigan. Now I’m sure you’re thinking “WTF?” So here’s the short of it: When my husband and I decided to forgo the traditional church wedding and get married in Italy, many of our friends and family demanded we also host a wedding reception in our hometowns (I’m from Michigan and he’s from the UK). So there you have it – not so crazy after all… Who am I kidding, it still sounds crazy to me and I planned each event. So two years to the day after saying “I do,” I want to take a moment to thank my family and wonderful husband for helping me make my wedding dreams come true.

Now before I sign off, I wanted to give a special shout out to some of my Alt NYC ladies who blog about all things wedding. If you’re in need of a planner, photographer or just some mind-blowing inspiration, then I encourage you to look these ladies up!

xoxo,

Andi

Happy Anniversary!! Your wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful. I have been planning to have a destination wedding since I can remember; all I am missing is my fiance (kind of an important person to have in the equation).

Haha! Yes, a fiance is essential! 😉 When the day comes and you decide to have a destination wedding, let me know and I can help! I’ve helped four women get married in Positano since my wedding.

That means you got to wear your wedding dress 3 times, not many ladies can say that! That was a lot of time and effort in all that planning. Well done xx

Yes I did! 🙂 I’m surprised the thing wasn’t destroyed by all the dancing!

I guess you’ve got some great advice and information for anyone wanting to do the same as you or even just get married in Positano

I was fortunate to have a ton of help from strangers and I’m happy to return the favor!
