I’m a huge advocate of upcycling. It’s eco-friendly, easy on the wallet and it challenges you to look at everyday items in a new way. So when Abe’s Market asked me to write a Cinco de Mayo-themed post for their blog, I immediately decided to create an eco-friendly alternative to traditional tissue paper garland. What did I use as my material – plastic grocery bags! This garland was very easy to make – visit the Abe’s Market blog for the full tutorial.
Plastic bags never looked so chic. What do you think?
