Best of the Week

Happy Friday everyone! Below are some great reads and life tidbits from the past week.

Did some thrifting last week. Check out Instagram for my latest scores!

Decided to make my own soap. Ingredients: shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil and tea tree oil. Can’t wait to try it out – too bad it has to cure for 4+ weeks. It smells so good!

Great tip for combating self-doubt: write yourself a long gushy love letter. P.S. if you’re not already reading the Middle Finger Project, you should be.

Selfies are out – bring on the usies.

This mens dress shirt turned crop top is adorable!

I could watch these travel videos over and over! The sound and picture quality is so fantastic you feel like you’re there.

Apparently being sleep deprived is like being drunk. No wonder I feel out of it when I don’t get my 8 hours.

20 signs you’re succeeding in life even if you don’t feel you are.

I’m not usually one for tattoos, but these inspirational temporary tattoos are super cute.

Handshakes spread germs. Duh! But should we really all be fist-bumping instead? I guess it would solve the creepy limp handshake problem.

Are you susceptible to Internet outrage?

Pretty scary article about how easy it will soon be to make a copy of anyone’s house key.

Ivy League schools are overrated – send you kids elsewhere. This is a long, but fascinating read. One of my favorite quotes from the article: “An undergraduate experience devoted exclusively to career preparation is four years largely wasted.”

When you get a moment, make sure to check out my recent posts:

xoxo,

Andi

I love this. Makes me feel better about my Classical Civilizations and Latin degrees…:)
