2014 Fall Fashion Essential – The Hat

Moderno Wide Brim Hat – Free People

I don’t know if it’s because of the hat I wore to Royal Ascot or British hat culture rubbing off on me, but I now  have a real affinity for hats. Which is why I’m so excited about this fall fashion essential! It seems like every outfit I’m coveting this season features a hat as the statement piece. Not surprising considering comfy boho sweaters and floppy felt hats pair nicely together.

I recently purchased this hat from Nordstrom. It’s large, floppy and red. And I love it! Looking to add a hat to your fall wardrobe? Check out these beauties:

Will you be adding a hat to your wardrobe this fall season?

xoxo,

Andi

P.S. Fashion/etiquette question: do you think it’s ok to wear your hat indoors (shopping mall, restaurant/bar, etc.)?

Wearing a hat indoors would be ok if

    1. your hair was a terrible mess underneath it!

    2. the hat didn’t have a huge brim!

    3. you didn’t get too hot from wearing!

I don’t think it would be a problem, (let’s see how many celebritIes will be wearing hats this Autumn)
